GGB (New Generation Group)


GGB (New Generation Group) - Public entry point

All users can now create GGB (New Generation Group) – new group up to 300 members. Here’s how to create GGB (New Generation Group) :

  1. From ‘Chat’ icon, tab  icon
  2. Tap on ‘Start Group Chat’ then tap on ‘Max 300 members (New)’

   

  1. Add Participants by giving  then tap ‘Next’ button

   

  1. Fill in the ‘Group Name’ then tap ‘Create’ button to create new GGB (New Generation Group).

   


GGB (New Generation Group) - Invites to GGB from non-admin participants

Enables non-admin members to invite additional participants into GGB (New Generation Group). Here’s how to allow members to invite others in a group.

  1. Click on the Group Info
  2. Toggle the setting On to ‘Allow members to invite others’


GGB (New Generation Group) - Notification layout

Notification displays Group name and message sender. When user receive message from GGB (New Generation Group), they will experience new layout notification. Provides more info from the notification bar – message sender and group name.


GGB (New Group Generation) Removing Multiple Chat entry point

Now user can create GGB (New Generation Group) from 1:1 chat instead of Multiple Chat. Here’s how you do it :

  1. On 1:1 chat, click on the menu bar at the top then select ‘Invite More’ button

  1. The 1:1 chat contact will be pre-selected for the Group Creation then tab ‘Next’ button

  1. Fill in ‘Group Name’ then tap ‘Create’ button to create New Generation Group (GGB)


Getting closer to GGB (New Generation Group)

In order to enjoy all the features in new generation group (GGB), if you go to chat tab then select create a new group so you will automatically go to a new group creation flow as below.  

Here’s how you do it : 

  1. From the ‘Chat’ tab, create a new group.
  2. User will automatically go to new group creation flow.
