  2. Scroll down to Settings and tap Account.

  4. Tap Edit Account Information.
  5. Type your new phone number or email.
  6. Tap Save.
  7. After you change your phone number, you can receive a text message or email to verify your new BBM ID.

Reset your BBM password

Before you begin: Verify that the email address or phone number that you typed in BBM is correct. If you can't sign in to BBM, verify that the email address or phone number is the one you use as your BBM ID.

  2. Tap Forgot password.
  3. Do any of the following:
    • If you confirmed the email address that you use as your BBM ID, complete the instructions from the password reset email message you receive.
